You should find out how low or high loads are supposed to be moved when selecting cranes. If for instance the crane is needed for construction of apartments, cranes used should have a high reach.

The terrain of the construction site needs consideration. For any crane to work as efficiently as possible, it is supposed to be used on suitable terrain. If for instance some mobility is needed and the ground soft, one would be better off using crawler cranes.
